Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:



  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
  • Work as a team member or independently to complete projects.
  • Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.
  • Observe and abide by safety procedures, policies, and electrical codes.
  • Accurately interpret technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
  • Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
  • Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed.
  • Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.


        Industrial Electrician Requirements:



        • High school diploma or GED.
        • Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience required.
        • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
        • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
        • Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
        • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
        • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
        • Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
