Your Role With Us:Salem Health seeking Urologists to join our Salem Health. As a Urologist with Salem, you will work in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers and other members of the health care team to directly manage the care of patients in hospital, outpatient surgical and ambulatory settings. Provide both outpatient and inpatient consults and performs in clinic and operating room-based procedures.Provide follow-up outpatient care after inpatient consults and proceduresHandles after hours calls, rounds on inpatients, and completes urgent urologic surgical procedures while on callDocuments clinical care in an appropriate, timely and accurate mannerDocuments and submits billing activity on a daily basisReviews charts as needed Assists in the development of policies, protocols, order sets and handouts pertinent to the Urology Service Develops a referral base for urology patients Background/Expertise:Graduated from an approved school of medicineCompletion of an accredited residency program in UrologyAn unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of OregonCurrent DEA certificateBoard Certification in Urology by the American Board of Urology.
