We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects within the scope of the operations team and develop a deep technical knowledge of various building and site systems to establish themselves as a trusted and reliable resource for the client, team, and vendors alike. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong critical thinking & analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Operations Planner will work closely with various departments and vendors to develop work scope, safety plans, and schedules. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Project planning and coordination Development of work scopes, safety plans, and project schedules Collaboration with various departments and vendors Management of multiple projects simultaneously Serving as a technical resource for clients, team members, and vendors Problem-solving and implementing process improvements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of High school diploma or state equivalent required CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES Valid U.S. driver's license KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems Project management principles and methodologies Safety regulations and best practices in the industry Operational processes and workflow optimization techniques Understanding of vendor management and coordination Proficiency within the Microsoft Office Suite PHYSICAL WORK ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting, including traversing large, campus-like settings, lifting to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, navigating rooftops to access equipment, using ladders up and driving for long periods of time. |
