About the Role Our Executive Managing Director role is the second in command to the CEO in New York and will serve as both a business lead across a key agency business and help provide leadership within the Business Leadership department (with support from Managing Directors) and jump into new business as well. This role requires broad shoulders to be able to navigate complexity across the organization and the client business, and should be a catalyst for change mentality, looking to the future success of the agency and sit within the Executive Leadership team for New York. Day-to-Day, the Executive Managing Director should always be encouraging their clients to reject the status quo. This person will manage integrated client portfolios in excess of $10-15MM in revenue. They add value by creating and nurturing strong relationships between our agency and Client CEO's and CMO's. They are passionate about clients, people and our agency. Drivers of growth, they are expected to produce new business leads and new enterprise opportunities regularly. They are often called upon to manage integrated organic and new business pitches across Ogilvy global offices and/or the WPP network. They are valued for being trusted advisors to internal and external constituents alike, building deep and long-lasting networks of relationships. Importantly, they act as brand advocates and champions of our Ogilvy brand to clients, employees and candidates alike. They are exceptional leaders of clients, teams and individuals and encourage them all to evolve and continually push to be better. They inspire through bold decision making and an unwavering passion for the business.
