Lead Systems Engineer. Carmel, IN. Gather and review stakeholder requirements and ensure the logical and systematic translation of these requirements into a total systems solution which meets scheduling, technical, and cost constraints. Convert customer requirements into product requirements and design specifications. Lead feature and capability development for each program iteration of software release. Develop automotive system strategy documents to define standard processes to ensure requirement traceability and reusability for ASPICE Level 3 compliance. Conduct and oversee software testing and verification for all features implemented for each software release. Lead and/or perform technical design analysis, trade-off studies, FMEAs, design reviews, and customer presentations. Identify and resolve failed test cases and open issues. Drive process, procedure, and methodology improvements to optimize work efficiency. Requires Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and three years of experience as an engineer in the automotive industry. Experience must include: testing/analyzing feasibility and performance of systems, performing process reviews, analyzing product designs to ensure requirements are met, performing mechanical analysis and design verification activities, developing design standards, ensuring EMC compliance and hardware design integrity, and use of e1ns-Plato and Polarion.
