THE JOB:

As a Cook at LAGO, you will play an essential role in preparing high-quality dishes that align with our commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. Your expertise in various cooking techniques and your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will contribute directly to the daily operations and success of our kitchen team.

THE STARTING RATE:$25.7806

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist in the preparation of sauces, stocks, and soups with attention to detail and presentation.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food products and expertly apply culinary techniques.
• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Ensure proper stock levels by restocking kitchen supplies and food items as needed.
• Label and date products in adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to execute service seamlessly.
• Work cohesively with team members to fulfill guest requests and maintain a positive dining atmosphere.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1 year of culinary experience, preferably in an Italian kitchen or high-volume restaurant.
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sauteing, and working with fish.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale casual dining preferred.
• Enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a passion for the art of cooking.
• On-call availability with flexible working hours to cover shifts as needed.
