The Lab - Medical Secretary:

-Performs secretarial duties for the Pathology Department.

-Responsible for maintaining on-site microscopic slide archive

-Well-versed in laboratory medical terminology.

Work Location: Bethesda, MD at Suburban Hospital

Part time - 32 hours per week

10:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Minimum Requirement:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One year of experience in a medical or laboratory setting.

60 wpm typing is desired

Salary Range: Minimum 20.10 per hour - Maximum 33.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
