Determines and applies the most efficient and cost-effective methods for industrial production. Designs systems that integrate material, equipment, information, and people in overall production processes.'

Duties and Responsibilities:

Eliminate or reduce waste in production and related processes
Responsible for Engineering Projects
Equipment Automation
Choose machinery and other equipment and arranges these items in the most effective layout in the manufacturing plant.
Develops methods that will be used to accomplish all of the tasks involved in production, including devising systems for quality control, distribution, and inventory.
Determines the functions and responsibilities of workers and devises and implements evaluation procedures; recommends methods for improving employee efficiency.
Evaluates potential for or actual physical harm throughout production processes; redesigns, relocates, or replaces equipment, as necessary.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Injection or Blow Molding experience required.
Should have an aptitude for mathematics, physical science, and computer applications.
Must have strong background in production systems planning; and manufacturing systems design.
5+ years of project management experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
Will lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
