$23.09 to $25.40 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based of experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and may include overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs skilled crafts and trades work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and accessories.May supervise subordinate staff.

REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years of experience as a plumber at Journeyman or Master level. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must have a valid State of Florida Journeyman or Master license in plumbing. Must be able to successfully pass a Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
