Overview

Carle Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health team in Peoria Heights, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

  • Join a growing team with an experienced Advanced Practice Provider and dedicated support staff
  • Our providers currently see patients for Primary, Occupational Health, and Urgent Care/walk-In.
  • Average 20-35 patients/day per provider
  • Clinic Hours are Mon - Fri 8 AM - 6 PM and Sat 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
  • Carle Health is a not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility

Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
  • Candidates with a strong interest in/experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Health are encouraged to apply

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
  • Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to perform minor procedures such as splinting, suturing, removal of foreign body in eye, ear, and more
  • Candidates must have additional training in Occupational Medicine including becoming a Certified Medical Examiner through FMCSA within 6 months of hire date and certified through the Medical Review Officer Certification Council (MROCC)
