General Responsibilities
Working with Facility Management, Project Management and Procurement in the facilitation of business transactions, governing the purchase of goods and services and the disbursement and tracking of invoices. The position involves a variety of tasks performed in a quick paced, customer-focused environment. The job includes documenting issues, invoice disbursement, tracking and requires a high degree of organizational competence. The PO Coordinator must possess excellent computer skills, with a solid working knowledge of word processing, database management and spreadsheet software. Also, the ability to work well under time pressures, and the skills to self-manage and multi-task unsupervised. Occasional overtime may be required. Must be able to communicate with peers, customers, suppliers, and co-workers at multiple levels. Additional administrative functions and skills may be required as assigned. Procurement and Administrative Responsible for the creation and tracking of Purchase Orders Assists in the management of essential documents, forms, processes and actions Updates supplier/customer records in software systems to ensure accurate records Provides resolution support to internal and external parties throughout the invoicing process ( requisitioning, approvals, placement, receiving and invoicing) Experience 1-3 years in procurement, accounts payable, administration, or related business transaction functions preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred Skills:Strong organizational and administrative capabilities Business level reading and comprehension; functional understanding of business processes Knowledge and direct working experience with standard office software and business software systems Knows and can perform relevant procurement math computations (percentages calculations, discounts, interest, etc.) Good business level verbal and written communications Understands and capable of following detailed instructions Good interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer service focus The ability to prioritize and work independently to achieve directives Safety: Embrace a personal commitment to business safety practices. |
