We are currently seeking a Director for Valuation Advisory. This highly visible leadership position holds primary responsibility for driving work, recruiting, managing team members, and working with national Leadership to grow market share.

The ideal candidate will display the ability to interact with clients directly to drive local and national client relationships and attract talent. They will also at times need to complete complex appraisal assignments with minimal oversight. The role is responsible for managing workflows, and supervising team members while still spending time completing valuation assignments. The candidate will focus on multiple asset classes, yet primarily focused in supporting Core-4.

When completing assignments, a successful candidate will complete assignments in connection with commercial real estate valuation and consulting projects which may include analyzing complex highest and best use scenarios, estimation of cash flows utilizing discounted cash flow models, analyses of comparable sales and cost analyses.

This role will collaborate with Operations and Senior Leadership to maintain a standard quality control process that results in outstanding client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Partner with sector and specialty practice team leads to understand the desires of the client product(s) and drive local work

Be active in local markets to recruit top talent

Providing mentoring and guidance to supporting team members

Analyzing market data and comparable transactions

Determining highest and best use, estimating market rents, and concluding to credible market values

Perform reviews of client deliverables to ensure they are USPAP compliant, fulfil state licensing guidelines, adhere to client scope, and consistent with JLL best practices

Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues, and suggest mitigation tactics

Maintain proper state licensing for the respective geographic focus area. In some instances, this role will be required to co-sign deliverables

Requirements:

Minimum of 7+ years' experience in valuation

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field

Certified General Appraisal License with the ability to get licensed in multiple states. Ideal candidate will also hold a MAI designation.

Understanding of or exposure to global real estate markets

ARGUS proficiency preferred

Ability to manage priorities and clearly set expectations to meet deadlines in an environment of competing priorities

Strong listening skills and the ability to clearly articulate constructive feedback to nurture and develop talent

Collaborative worker with a positive and proactive approach to project delivery
