Job Summary: As a Clinical Scientist at Aveo Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our oncology pipeline through the design, execution, and interpretation of clinical studies. Your expertise in immunology and cytokine biology will be essential in developing and evaluating therapies aimed at enhancing immune responses in cancer treatment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our clinical trials are scientifically sound and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement clinical study protocols, including feasibility assessments, study objectives, and statistical analysis plans, with a focus on immuno-oncology strategies.

* Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and biostatistics teams to ensure successful trial execution, emphasizing cytokine profiling and immune response assessment.

* Analyze and interpret clinical data related to immunological endpoints, contributing to data reports and publications.

* Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and responses to regulatory inquiries, particularly regarding immunological data.

* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and scientific advancements in oncology and immunology.

* Support investigator meetings and ensure that investigators are adequately trained on study protocols, especially those related to immune modulation.

* Contribute to the development of clinical sections of product development plans and strategy discussions with a focus on immuno-oncology.

Qualifications:

* Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., oncology, immunology, pharmacology, biology).

* Previous experience in clinical research, particularly in oncology and immunology, is highly desirable.

* Strong understanding of GCP, FDA regulations, and other relevant guidelines.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex scientific information to diverse audiences.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
