About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join us. Duties and Responsibilities:
Serving as the focal point for all program-level communications between the Contractor team and the Senate;
- Preparing and chairing or representing the Contractor at all ITSC Program-level meetings;
- Disseminating all meeting correspondence;
- Possessing complete, although not exclusive, Contractor operational decision-making authority;
- Communicating daily with the COR or designee and/or alternate COR or designee;
- Coordinating all program and any task order activities, deliverables, presentations, and briefings;
- Providing staffing for the Contractor team and all task order staffing as required;
- Maintaining program service levels and specifications;
- Utilizing a formal change control process to ensure agreement on all objectives and tasks;
- Participating in the technical review and business process review meetings;
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and controlling the quality assurance plan for the program and all Task Orders;
- Reviewing and certifying all billings and ensuring that all invoices are submitted correctly and in a timely manner, including Task Orders;
- Directly representing the Contractor to the Senate COR or designee and/or alternate COR or designee; and
- Take any related actions to fulfill these Roles and Responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (such as computer science, information technology, or business administration).
- 8-10 years of experience in managing large-scale IT projects or contracts, preferably in a government or federal context.
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Additional Requirements: 1. Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development.
- Familiarity with government regulations, compliance, and security standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS, NIST).
- Leadership and Communication Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to guide teams, resolve conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
- Effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
- Financial Management:
- Budgeting and financial oversight skills to manage the $10 million contract effectively.
- Ability to allocate resources efficiently and track expenses.
- Risk Management:
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the contract.
- Developing contingency plans and ensuring project success.
- Contract Management:
- Understanding of contractual terms, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Negotiation skills for contract modifications or extensions.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implementing processes to monitor and evaluate project performance.
- Ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Regularly updating stakeholders on project status, risks, and achievements.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
- Ability to handle unexpected challenges and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
