Overview:

Sentara RMH Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Albemarle is now hiring a Full-Time Athletic Trainer in Elizabeth City, NC!

Hours:Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!

Overview

The Athletic Trainer will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree Athletic Training or Physical Therapy

Certification/Licensure

  • Licensed Athletic Trainer or Athletic Trainer Certified or eligible for LAT or ATC exam
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
  • Valid license in state of practice

Experience

  • 40 hours Clinical experience preferred
