SUMMARY

BLUvera, Mortenson's vertically integrated manufacturing and fabrication affiliate, utilizes advanced design, engineering, 3D modeling, and manufacturing to deliver a safer, faster, and more predictable experience to the built environment. By utilizing DfMA principles (design for manufacturing and assembly), BLUvera leverages technology in the manufacture and fabrication of off-site construction products- enabling our customers to realize the schedule and cost savings that the industrialized process creates. Our aim is to transform the way we build things, turning digital models into precision specified building components, not just by being at the leading edge of industry disruption, but creating it!

BLUvera is currently seeking a Project Executive for the Monroe, LA Data Center project. The Project Executive plays a crucial role as the primary point of contact with the Operations Groups and is expected to be a key business partner in driving the overall success of the project, ensuring effective collaboration among all parties to achieve shared goals. Additionally, this position is responsible for both overseeing the daily execution and developing long-term strategies for pre-fabrication and manufacturing within the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Establish and maintain successful customer relationships
  • Serve as BLUvera's lead partner and primary customer contact for the DCM team and all other partners
  • Conduct key customer service visits throughout the project, ensuring project commitments are met, and issues are resolved
  • Collaborate with BLUvera Leadership in preparing proposals before submission and participate in Request for Proposal process


Plant Operations



  • Provides leadership for Plant operation team members
  • Coordinates all manufacturing functions within the Plant environment
  • Accountable for establishing and driving Lean initiatives throughout the Plant to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented.
  • Ensures the Plant has proper inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics and quality procedures in place.
  • Adapts the strategy as business, market, and economic environments change


Financial Performance



  • Develops a budget and manage the Plant within budget constraints.
  • Ownership of the financials for the assigned project


Team Engagement



  • Fosters and mentors a unified One Mortenson culture among all team members
  • Supports a culture of collaboration and partnership between BLUvera, Mortenson and Trade partners
  • Exemplifies LeadBLU principles in his/her behavior and interaction with others

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projects (20+)
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and financial principles, with the ability to make sound, market-driven decisions that drive profitability.
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and influence key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident and effective presenter, capable of delivering clear, engaging, and impactful presentations to internal teams, clients, and leadership.
  • Shown ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
  • Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.
  • Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
  • Current driver's license

  • Relocate to Monroe, LA for approximately 18 months for first project

The base pay range for this role is $164,000 - $246,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
