Research Finance Analyst Division of Hematology/Oncolog Full Time 82529BR Job Summary The Research Finance Analyst uses skills as a seasoned, experienced administrator to independently manage the financial and post-award components of research, awards and transactions related to contract and grant management and maintains contract and grant records in compliance with institutional research sponsor policies. Work on proposals and awards of diverse scope where analysis of data requires thorough understanding of complex regulations. Completes and approves transactions for signature by manager or other authorized institutional official. Works on complex proposals and awards that may involve multiple investigators and / or multiple sub awards. Guides less experienced staff. Typically manages complex grants / and contracts which require task budgets, option years, multiple investigators and multiple sub awards. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $81,000 - $121,600 (Annual Rate). Currently, the Division has 90+ Full-time faculty, 11 part-time and/or volunteer faculty, 29 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and non-ACGME fellows, 22 post-doctoral fellows, 32 Non-faculty appointments and 48 administrative and research staff. The Division's research, clinical and teaching functions are primarily split between the Parnassus and Mission Bay campuses, although the faculty, fellows, and staff have appointments and clinical, research, and educational activities at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), and Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) as well.
