Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, primarily to teach in the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center. Responsibilities include: Lecturing, demonstrating clinical methods, supervising student management and fitting of patient models, mentoring students through the capstone process, and creating selected presentations for our Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics Program. Conducting online teaching responsibilities within our Blended Learning curriculum are also required. Qualified candidates will be an ABC-certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO), or have an equivalent ISPO-recognized Category I Prosthetic-Orthotic credential, with at least 5 years of clinical, teaching, and/or research experience in the field, at least 3 years of which is required to consist of teaching experience in an accredited degree program. A masters degree is required and a doctoral degree is desirable. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until December 31, 2024.
