IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst in our Kanas City office. As a Senior Data Analyst you will be responsible for .Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provide internal and external clients with valuable dashboards that they can use to improve marketing, operational and businesses practices. Main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
  • Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures
  • Performing statistical analysis of data
  • Use SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate data from relational databases
  • Work with other IT team members to understand business requirements, current processes, and available data points
  • Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as tables, diagrams, graphs, and charts
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of data by performing data validation and cleansing
  • Developing and managing enterprise- and department- level business intelligence solutions
  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients
  • Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Backing up Data Manager on critical business processes and enterprise application integrations
  • Other duties as assigned

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

  • 5+ years of experience in reporting tools with an emphasis on Power BI
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL
  • 5+ years of experience working with relational databases
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project)
  • Ability to think creatively and logically
  • Experience with Python/Jupyter a plus
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays

Education and experience requirements are

  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
