JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Penn State is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. The successful candidate will work on using machine learning tools for electronic design automation problems. The work will involve research on machine learning, digital twins, electronic design automation efforts working in collaboration with other research groups.

Necessary experience and background - Requirements include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields by the start date. Prior background in machine learning, digital twins and electronic design automation is highly desired. The postdoc will have the opportunity to mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Guidance will be provided toward writing research grants and publications. This is a term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of renewal for additional year(s).
