POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Corporate Recruiter to join our team at Alterra Mountain Company's corporate headquarters. This is a full-cycle recruiting role and is responsible for sourcing, engaging, assessing, and hiring talent across multiple departments and disciplines. Our new Corporate Recruiter will need to effectively articulate Alterra Mountain Company's culture, mission, and values while providing an exceptional experience to all candidates, regardless of whether they are selected for the job. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a knack for developing relationships with hiring managers built on trust and enjoys finding the absolute best talent to join Alterra Mountain Company's rapidly growing business.

This position is hybrid and required to be on-site at our Denver, CO office 2-3 days per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Facilitates the staffing and recruiting process for corporate positions across multiple departments, including sourcing, reviewing resumes, screening and selecting candidates, scheduling interviews, checking references, making job offers, and negotiating compensation.
  • Proactively communicates with hiring managers, including regular updates on the status of open position(s).
  • Drives a positive candidate experience in an inclusive and culturally competent manner and proactively educates hiring managers/hiring teams to do the same.
  • Manages the feedback & discussion loops for hiring managers and interview teams geared toward fairness and consensus on candidate selection.
  • Utilizes Workday (ATS) to its fullest extent and acts as subject matter expert as it pertains to questions and training by other users.
  • Sources a diverse range of passive candidates through proactive outreach by phone, internet, and personal and social networks.
  • Facilitates discussions with hiring managers when a new position opens to gather necessary information and set realistic expectations.
  • Expertly articulates the culture, ethics, mission, and values of Alterra Mountain Company.
  • Proactively takes ownership of the corporate recruitment process and makes recommendations for process improvements in collaboration with the other members of the Corporate Recruitment team.
  • Helps maintain relationships with outside recruiting partners and vendors such as colleges, universities, employment agencies, external recruiters, etc.
  • Occasionally assists resort recruitment teams with tough-to-fill positions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of in-house, corporate recruiting experience is required. This is not an entry level position.
  • Experience recruiting for technology roles preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing, engaging, assessing, and hiring in a fast-paced corporate environment across multiple departments/disciplines.
  • Ability to build deep and positive relationships with hiring teams based on trust.
  • Ability to execute a full-cycle recruiting processes and coach hiring teams on best practices in hiring.
  • Professional/lived experience recruiting and communicating in a culturally competent manner to a diverse range of candidates.
  • Highly organized individual who is able to manage multiple competing priorities and 15-20+ open positions at any time.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required.
  • Experience building and fostering relationships at all levels.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage change in a positive and inclusive way.
  • Must be able to work with highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $63,000 - $95,000 per year
