Overview
The Logistic Specialist L3 ensures the flow and inventory control of material and equipment for field installations in a friendly, safe, and efficient manner. A Logistic Specialist L3 needs minimal guidance and supervision from the Logistic Foreman. Responsibilities * Arrange for the movement of materials and equipment on and off trailers and other vehicles site equipment to include forklifts * Perform other routine duties as directed by Logistic Foreman Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required. Must have previous experience in the construction field and a valid driver's license. Knowledge of material control procedures and or shipping and receiving experience preferred LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Capable of leading up to two Logistics Helpers and Logistics (L2) Specialist LANGUAGE SKILLS: Can communicate effectively with other team members to accomplish the goals of each project MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform math skills rapidly and accurately REASONING ABILITY: Evaluate information using measurable standards. Can read and understand drawings, specifications and schematics OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others. Must follow specific directions. Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure. Reach for, handle and grasp wires and hand tools, bend, crouch, stoop kneel, and work in small places, and lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds (frequently) to 75 pounds (occasionally). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception; recognize slight differences in shapes or shading, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often exposed to high, precarious places, risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions.
