Representative - Count Room

SUMMARY: Successfully provides manual and mechanical assistance to verify the contents of the drop boxes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Must be able to manually pull the Bill Validator boxes out of Slot machines
* Able to assist other employees with the counting of the table drop boxes.
* Able to assist in the upkeep of the count room equipment and provide recommendations when necessary.
* Must be able to walk/stand for prolong periods of time (8+ hours).
* Follows the Company Service Standards model at all times.
* Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana Evansville's internal controls, policies and procedures.
* Must be available for regularly scheduled work including holidays and weekends.
* Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain and Indiana Gaming Commission license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform basic math with confidence and have the ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have a demonstrated ability in basic Microsoft Office products and all other systems associated with position.
