Are you interested in learning more about systems engineering and/or cybersecurity and resilience in support of nationally important defense programs? If you are pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Cybersecurity or related technical field and want to apply systems engineering on multiple strategic weapons systems, we'd love to have you join our team! We are seeking a Systems Engineering Intern and a Cyber Resilience Intern for the Systems Engineering Group in the Force Projection Sector. We provide vital systems engineering, cybersecurity, and system development expertise to nationally important strategic deterrence capabilities for the Navy and Air Force. As a member of our team, you will help develop and assess requirements, develop architectures and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models, build and modify analysis tools, develop test plans and analyze test data, perform trade studies, and/or cybersecurity engineering for strategic weapons systems development programs. We are passionate about making critical contributions to these critically important programs, and you will be a key part of our success. The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
