The Litigation Group of the Chicago office is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (Class of 2024 - 2021) with litigation experience, including discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation activity. Exposure and interest in the cybersecurity and data privacy practice is a plus. The Litigation Group of Skadden has significant experience handling complex litigation and white collar matters, including securities litigation; class actions and MDLs; cyber litigation; commercial contractual disputes; fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference claims; merger-related litigation and control disputes; bankruptcy and restructuring-related issues; and regulatory investigations. The starting base salary for this Chicago position is expected to be between $235,000 - $365,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. Associates who join Skadden laterally participate in an enhanced mentor program, which specifically focuses on the unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions.
