People * Customers * Trust Principle Accountabilities: * Be adaptable and handle the physical demands of the job, which may include lifting, bending, and walking long distances. Ability to lift and maneuver moderate weights (typically up to 50 lbs). * Using pick tickets or technology like scanners/computer/iPad, locate and retrieve items from designated locations in the warehouse. * Ensure accuracy by verifying the correct item and quantity are picked. * Pack orders securely, following proper packaging procedures. This may involve wrapping items or placing them in boxes. Utilize packing materials like bubble wrap, peanuts, or void fill to ensure safe transport. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. May replenish packing materials at their workstation as needed. * Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory control by reporting discrepancies. * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. * Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards. * Work efficiently to meet picking quotas and deadlines. * Perform visual inspections of items for any damage before packing. * Securely pack orders in boxes or bags, following proper packaging procedures to prevent damage during transit. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. * Work well with others. * Help maintain a safe work environment by knowing facility safety rules/procedures, as well as identify and report unsafe working conditions and unsafe behaviors of others. * Follows company policy and rules. * Overall responsible for quality of work and ensuring all policies for quality checks are being performed. * Consistently meets efficiency goals as outlined by management. * Must understand lot codes and properly use them. * Must count and verify quantities. * Reconcile paperwork at the end of the shift. * Understands the inventory process. * Makes sure all paperwork is filled out correctly. * Familiar with and follow GMPs. * Communicate with maintenance department or supervisor any needed repairs. * Maintain neat, orderly, and safe area. * Know and follow company safety and work rules, company policies and procedures. * Perform other duties, as needed. Position Requirements: * Education High School Diploma/GED required. * Must be able to read, recognize numbers and understand number sequences. * Must be able to do basic math calculation (i.e., count, add, subtract, multiply, divide). , * Must be detail oriented. * Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends. * Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic. * Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously. * Must effectively communicate with diverse workforce. * Must be adaptable to changing work environment.
