Facilities and Maintenance Technician The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is dedicated to the conservation of cranes and their habitats worldwide. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with a day shift schedule. Occasional overtime is required. During the busy visitor season (May-October), you will be required to cover one weekend day per week and some holidays. Outside of this period, the schedule is Monday-Friday. Position Overview: We are seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining and enhancing our International Headquarters and Visitor's Center, ensuring it is safe, functional, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with a strong background in facilities management who thrives in a dynamic environment. As part of the team at ICF, you will play a crucial role in supporting the infrastructure that sustains both our dedicated staff and the cranes we work tirelessly to protect. Your responsibilities will include a broad range of tasks, from light carpentry and plumbing to cleaning, groundskeeping, and coordinating repairs across our campus. You will ensure that our buildings, grounds, and exhibits run smoothly and that our visitors and staff have a safe and welcoming environment. A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration will be essential, as you will work closely with your colleagues to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and respond to urgent needs. Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of technical training or certification in a relevant field, along with at least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance. A valid state driver's license is required, and you must be comfortable working in various weather conditions, as much of the role involves outdoor tasks. Strong organizational skills, a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly to changing work environments and technologies are key. A team-oriented attitude and the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of work will set you up for success.
