The University of Georgia's Office of Online Learning works with faculty to develop high-quality online graduate programs and courses as well as undergraduate summer courses. Our office helps our colleges, schools, and other academic units develop online graduate programs that marry the strengths of the university with the needs of the labor market in Georgia and the nation. The Office of Online Learning also has subunits for marketing, enrollment services, student services, and media production. |

Position Summary |
The Instructional Technology Development Specialist (Instructional Designer) designs and develops online courses and instructional materials in undergraduate and graduate contexts. Work focuses on creating new curricula as well as revising existing courses and materials. This person works collaboratively with online learning staff and
UGA faculty to integrate teaching methods, technology tools and assessments to enhance student learning. The Instructional Technology Development Specialist contributes to the development of processes and procedures that increase consistency, quality and regulation compliance of courses and programs that are delivered online. |
