Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hands-on Sales Technology Development Lead, VP to join our Distribution Technology Team at TCW. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our next-generation Distribution platform. This high-impact role blends strategic leadership with technical expertise, focusing on Salesforce and other SaaS solutions to enhance collaboration, analytics, and reporting. The successful candidate will oversee and partner with a talented technology team, driving innovation and ensuring the organization's technology landscape supports its ambitious business objectives.
Essential Duties
Lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce-based solutions, including Sales and Financial Services Cloud, Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Salesforce strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce, HubSpot, Snowflake, Seismic, etc.
- Partner closely with our software engineering teams on Azure software development.
- Manage solution architecture, custom development, integrations, and platform maintenance.
- Champion continuous platform enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the technology team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Engage with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
- 6+ years of experience in software development. Strong programming skills (Python, C++, C#) and advanced knowledge in back-end development.
- Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD, particularly GitLab/GitHub.
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development and administration.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale Salesforce projects.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., CTA, Application Architect) are highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in the financial industry, preferably in Sales within Asset Management.
- Effective communication skills with a wide audience of other engineers across the firm.
- Effective time-management skills, prioritizing deliverables that meet the project's best interests.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on setting clear and achievable goals, addressing challenges and obstacles, and ensuring accountability.
- Forward-thinking approach to technology to stay ahead of trends and provide modern solutions to our internal development teams.

Desired Qualifications
- Passion for software development best practices and high-quality solutions.
- Worked on cloud-native development and using CSP-managed services (ML Azure)
- Hands-on experience with React/Typescript web applications, microservice development (.NET/Go), and unit testing.
- Strong interest in AI and AI integrations.
- Proven success in distributed work environments.
- Experience with BI tools such as CRM Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with Salesforce Outlook integration tools, such as LinkPoint 360.
- Knowledge of Salesforce database replication platforms, such as DBAmp or Informatica
- Public Cloud Provider certification(s) is a plus.
Estimated Compensation: Base Salary: For NY based position, the base salary range is $175k - $200k. This is an anticipated range only.
