TITLE: Maintenance Specialist, Operational Performance - Asset Management Role Focus - this role has focus on Project Management skills in a powerplant operations environment ideally, as well as technical competency. POSITION CONCEPT PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Collect, maintain, and analyze asset data supporting the engineering, maintenance, operations, and asset management functions including performance monitoring and other industry best practices. (20%) 2. Development, configuration, implementation, asset maintenance strategies (asset condition monitoring, capital improvements, operational limits, etc.) in ED/ES Asset Management systems (e.g., historian). (10%) 3. Facilitate the development of Asset Hierarchy and support the onboarding of new assets into the hierarchy, and be involved in data governance activities. (15%) 4. Support, sustain, and continuously improve the use of operator rounds, logs, and Hazardous Energy Control and program. (20%) 5. Manage support, and configuration of software systems for asset performance monitoring and modeling, precision alignment, equipment lubrication and other industry's best practices. (15%) 6. Work with equipment owners and subject matter experts to ensure the implementation and monitoring of mechanical assets and develop proactive recommendations for changes to equipment maintenance strategies (equipment maintenance, redesign, operational limits, additional monitoring). (5%) 7. Analyze and maintain reporting on the performance of assets, including malfunctions or failure of equipment and make recommendations for mitigation. (5%) 8. Support the engineering, maintenance, operation, and asset management functions of assets as needed and develop associated standards. (5%) 9. Assist with troubleshooting of system problems. Take part as on-call technical support for troubleshooting of mechanical system problems as required.
