SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Assay Development Research Scientist 1 position is for candidates who have experience in developing scaled, high-sensitivity tests, and experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). The Assay Development - Research Scientist 1 will be responsible for designing and developing fully-automated, high-throughput next generation sequencing-based genetic tests from concept through commercial launch. The assay development team strives to create a highly collaborative environment, with an emphasis on cross-functional projects. Continually assess and integrate cutting-edge technology into our laboratory and development process, our Assay Development - Research Scientists will play a key role in developing new tests as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing assays.
