Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. * Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances. * Advise, order, and perform tests and interpret the results. * Discuss diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures. * Carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications, and updating patient records. * Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions and their loved ones. * Conducting research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques. * Remaining up-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology. * Handling basic administrative, clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, or data entry. Qualifications
* Graduate of an approved medical school. * Possession of a valid license to practice in New York State. * A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions. * Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses. * Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills. * Five years of full-time licensed experience as a physician practicing general medicine acceptable to the Medicine Board of the Medical Board of the Hospital. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $109,791* based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $197,290**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
