Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

* Analyze, examine, and investigate patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances. * Advise, order, and perform tests and interpret the results. * Discuss diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures. * Carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications, and updating patient records. * Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions and their loved ones. * Conducting research and studies on the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions to develop new treatment techniques. * Remaining up-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research, and technology. * Handling basic administrative, clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, or data entry.

* Graduate of an approved medical school. * Possession of a valid license to practice in New York State. * A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions. * Strong analytical abilities to provide accurate diagnoses. * Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and researching skills. * Five years of full-time licensed experience as a physician practicing general medicine acceptable to the Medicine Board of the Medical Board of the Hospital.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $109,791* based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $197,290**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520**
• Projected bonus of up to $24,000** (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
