Overview

Join ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group as an Engineering Site Lead. In this role, you'll also lead pre-job safety briefs, identify new business opportunities, and serve as the key liaison in weekly client interface meetings, providing on-site support to drive project success. We are seeking leads for the Brown Ferry Nuclear Power Plant location in Athens, AL.



Responsibilities

Each day is an exciting mix of technical challenge and client collaboration, where you'll review design changes, manage project schedules, and lead key meetings to ensure everything stays on track. You'll also play a pivotal role in safety, walk-downs, and identifying new business opportunities, making a real impact on both project success and company growth.

    Design and Engineering: Prepare and/or review design change packages and other engineering deliverables, coordinate attendance at design review meetings, and manage site deliverable reviews and approvals
  • Project Management: Track project schedules and resource loading, lead weekly client interface/project status meetings, and provide on-site support as needed
  • Safety and Compliance: Perform pre-job safety briefs and assist with walk-downs and data gathering
  • Business Development: Develop and identify new business opportunities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering (related degrees or experience will be considered)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in nuclear power or heavy industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project Management experience beneficial
  • Design Engineering or field experience beneficial
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
