Job Details A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Anna Pluciennik, at Thomas Jefferson University to study DNA repair systems in the context of neurodegeneration and cancer.Job Description We are looking for a cryo-EM expert to study protein-DNA and protein-protein interactions in the DNA repair pathways involved in genome instability in Huntington's disease. The laboratory is located in newly renovated space in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.The laboratory has an access to a cryo-EM facility at Jefferson equipped with state-of-the-art Glacios 200kV transmission cryo-Electron Microscope equipped with Falcon 4 direct electron detector. In addition, a strong background in molecular biology/biochemistry is required, as is attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
