Description Client is asking to see candidates within an hour drive of Denver, CO, Stratham, NH and Greensboro, NC first but please share all talent. This is contract that will either extend or convert. TEKsystems fortune 500 Retail customer is looking to add an Active Directory Architect to their team with a focus on Entra ID experience. This is currently a hybrid environment that rolls into the security organization. This team is solely responsible for Active Directory on prem, Entra ID and how it interacts with IAM tool Saviynt. All server, O365, messaging and such work is handled by other teams. The best resource for this role will be someone whom has focused on Active Directory in Enterprise environments in their career and has in the past 3-5 years help 1 or 2 organizations with their Entra ID modernization and security journey. We are seeking a highly experienced IAM Active Directory Entra ID Architect to join our dynamic team and lead our identity and access management initiatives. Job Description: Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and deployment of Active Directory (AD) and Entra-ID (formerly Azure AD) environments. Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our outsourced partners to integrate IAM solutions with various applications and systems. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal and external stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IAM technologies and practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Over 10 years of experience in IAM, with a strong focus on Active Directory and Entra-ID. Proven expertise in designing and implementing IAM solutions in complex environments with Saviynt, Entra/Azure In-depth knowledge of identity governance, authentication, authorization, and federation. Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management (PAM). Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are considered an asset Experience with cloud IAM solutions and hybrid environments.
