CAS is currently seeking a Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Position Summary Responsible for day-to-day preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of major components of the CAS buildings, building management, support systems, and data center infrastructure. At the direction of the Senior Manager, Building Operations, responsible for supporting the coordination of day-to-day input and assignment of work orders in the work order system. Responsible for maintaining a wide range of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, elevators, and office systems. Responsible for providing support and set-ups for CAS meetings, corporate functions, and other corporate events. This position requires flexibility to support general maintenance and building mechanical tasks as assigned as well as be in the on-call rotation. Position Accountabilities
Qualifications:
Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the responsibilities of the position, the worker may exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects such as; office furniture, wall-partitioning, 55 gallon drums of liquids, and other containers of similar weight and bulk. The worker stands upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time; moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moderate distances or moving from one work site to another. The duties require manual dexterity to hold, control and operate tools machinery, and/or vehicles with hands and fingers. The worker frequently reaches with hands and arms and occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performing mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature. The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions (weather and temperature) where exposure lasts for more than one hour. The worker is subject to hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat, loud noises, oils and/or chemicals.
