  • Patient Transport Dispatch MTC Responsibilities 1.Operates Transport application, phone, MS Teams, and EPIC to receive transport request and communication with transport staff.2.Operates phone equipment and multiple computer terminals and programs.3.Receives and relays specific hospital emergency calls (including) medical emergencies, admission, and discharges.4.Monitors location of all drivers and prioritizes requests for transport and notifies requestor of availability.5.Dispatches all Patient Transport Requests.6.Maintains contact with all patient transport staff at all times; monitors transport turnaround times and notifies units and ancillary areas of delays.7.Confirms that all transporters who are on schedule are present and report lateness and absences to supervisor8.Communicates changes or additional information about a transport to drivers and facility.9.Transports patients and items (including but not limited to COVID tests, PPE, office supplies) when needed.10.Completes other duties assigned by supervisor11.Monitors patient transporters breaks and lunches12.Monitors and is responsible for patient flow within the department



Position: Patient Transport Dispatch MTC
Shift: M-F, Full Time, Day

Experience: Experience in dealing with customers and call taking preferred

Education: HS Diploma or GED required

Licensures/Certifications: BLS preferred
