Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Scholarships and Fund Management, the Senior Fiscal Analyst serves as the primary professional fiscal analyst in support of the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (FAS) in matters regarding student financial aid budget and financial planning and analysis; resource allocations and reductions; fiscal control, analysis, and project management for the financial aid programs. In this role, the Senior Fiscal Analyst performs complex budgetary and financial analytical studies of major FAS functions. The Senior Fiscal Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining statistical and historical analyses to determine multi-year expenditure trends. The incumbent conducts needs assessments to identify issues, formulate alternatives, and make appropriate recommendations. They serve as the FAS primary contact for campus University Student Aid Program (USAP), as well as Federal and State allocations. This role is critical in both independent abilities and in-depth knowledge of fiscal matters, policies, procedures, and includes specific responsibilities for Federal Pell Grant Management and Federal Work-Study Program Management. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $77,000 - $139,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $36.88 - $66.67 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
