Work Schedule:

We are seeking a Pre/Post RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative and peri anesthesia care across several surgical specialties. Patient care is delivered in our First Day Surgery and Outpatient Surgery Departments.



  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients by preparing them for surgery. This includes Perioperative Checklists, IV placement and Medication Administration.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship to enable the patient and family to verbalize understanding of post-surgical care and discharge teaching.


Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred
  • Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
  • Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
  • 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
