The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/benefits/ About the role: As the Leaves Analyst, you will be responsible for the Workers' Compensation benefits for injured employees. In partnership with the unit supervisor, you will manage an assigned caseload of routine to moderately complex claims from the investigation of the claim through resolution; this includes making decisions about liability/compensability, evaluating losses, and negotiating settlements. You will demonstrate subject matter expertise with ADAAA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, CAPDLL and knowledge of Labor Code 132a. In collaboration with the Manager-LOA/WDCM, you will effectively deliver UCLA Health's Disability Management program by providing direction and expertise in complying with state and federal and statutory law, facilitating the interactive process. Review the appropriate treatment and ensure that treatment is prompt and adequate by collaborating with physicians and our industrial clinic-effective collaboration with our Legal, Human Resources Leadership, Leave of Absence, Disability Management teams, and third-party administrator. Review and follow up on the workers' compensation claim forms and employees' medical status reports that are accurate and current.
