Iteris is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and delegate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing of goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, managing staff, and keeping a clean, well-organized warehouse. ]

What you will be doing:




  • Direct and oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse to include inventory control as well as shipping and receiving operations
  • Complete necessary Activity Reports for management & creates activity plans for upcoming weeks
  • Responsible for all storage transactions, receiving errors, staging of products and reconciling/resolving discrepancies or variances related to inventory, shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports
  • Develop and oversee strategic inventory management plans, identify potential excess, aged and obsolete inventory, and work with management to develop dispositioning plans
  • Responsible for warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations
  • Responsible for the daily schedule to ensure proper staffing to receive, put away, pick, pack, and ship products in a productive and cost-efficient manner
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative ideas or adjust existing work procedures and practices
  • Work with management to optimize and streamline operations. Help drive continuous improvement initiatives (Cost, Quality, Process), embracing change where needed to stay ahead of the competition
  • Manages the flow of paperwork and personnel for timely data entry
  • Achieve high levels of team performance through excellence in shipping, receiving, pulling inventory, kitting, and other warehouse operations in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Work closely with internal management to execute all planned programs, report activities and productivity, create and maintain a rolling plan
  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Communicate and work with other departments to maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization
  • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities employee performance
  • Develop daily cycle counts, investigate variances, and prepare for annual fiscal inventory count



What you need to be successful in this role:




  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of previous managerial experience required (preferably in a warehouse, distribution, 3pl, or manufacturing environment)
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate and manage conflict, project management, strong decision making, problem solving, analytical skills, and strategic planning
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping
  • Comfortable using inventory management software
  • Strong computer and MS Office skills; strong Excel skills
  • Physical strength and ability to walk or stand for long periods of time; ability to life 25 lbs.
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicle and equipment; certification/licensing preferred
  • Proper methods: inventory, storing equipment, materials and supplies including inspecting and issuing material, and record keeping
  • Logistics knowledge and experience
  • 3PL experience a plus
  • Experience leading physical inventory and cycle counts



Iteris anticipates paying between $95,000 and $105,700 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
