Salary Rate: $67/hour.

Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Experienced Medical Oncology Clinic Nurse needed for DAYS

Rate - $67/hour

Basic Medical Coverage - Provided for self and dependent.

Shifts: DAYS - Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Summary:

The Medical Oncology Clinic nurse is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of oncology practice clinics, patient facing, and ensuring seamless collaboration with physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff. The role is responsible for delivery of comprehensive patient education, involving guiding patients through their disease trajectory, from diagnosis to end-of-life care. Solid tumor experience is preferred, oncology experience required.

Qualifications:




  • ADN or BSN
  • Active D.C. license and active Maryland RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted). ACLS certification required.
  • Additional certification requirements vary per specialty.
  • 1+ year hospital-based RN experience required, post initial RN orientation
  • Solid tumor experience is preferred, oncology experience required.
  • EPIC experience strongly preferred
