Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the energetic manufacturing processes with an emphasis on quality assurance and safety. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, problem solving abilities, and a passion for process innovation in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the manufacturing processes of energetic materials.
  2. Implement quality control measures to ensure safety and compliance.
  3. Analyze and optimize manufacturing operations for efficiency.
  4. Lead initiatives that identify and implement process improvements.
  5. Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members, acting as a technical expert.
  6. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process control plans.
  7. Provide regular reports on project status, process improvements, and engineering performance


Basic Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of OP-5: Ammunition and Explosives Safety Ashore.
  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in an engineering discipline with 15+ years in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations related to energetic materials and hazardous environments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Minimum Security Clearance: SECRET; TS if necessary.


Desired Experience:

  • Expertise in manufacturing equipment and maintenance protocols.
  • Strong background in quality assurance/control methodologies.
  • Prior experience in the defense, aerospace, or energy sectors.
