Job Type/Location: Full-time/Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
What You Bring:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team on 1st shift. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for the production industry and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for the material handler position with us.
Location & Schedule and Hours:
We are located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 1st shift role working 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F.
Primary Job Duties:
  1. Supply production personnel with raw materials and packaging items.
  2. Maintain and organize warehouse.
  3. Conduct bin to bin transfers, transfer order to supply production lines, production line supply returns, and order picking and shipment in SAP.
  4. Verify correct and consistent information on finished goods prior to moving the goods to the Quality Control hold area.
  5. Verify that material is properly identified in storage and bin locations.
  6. Move left over raw materials and packaging materials into warehouse at conclusion of production run.
  7. Assist in inventory tasks and cycle counting.
  8. Monitor raw materials and report shortages to Materials Manager.
  9. Load or unload trucks as needed.
  10. Operate a fork lift for the majority of the of the shift.
  11. Responsible for safely moving product from one location to another.
  12. Maintain forklift truck and record daily forklift inspections
  13. Maintain and organize the WIP raw material storage racks.
Marginal Duties:
  1. Back up to Shipper/Receiver as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food processing plant or related industry
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other production equipment
- Fluent understanding of basic math for inventory management as needed
