Typically, such products involve a comprehensive system of implants and instruments. You will also have direct responsibility for the commercialization of these products. In addition, you will be responsible for developing laboratory testing plans which will insure safe and efficacious products that meet the design specifications and the company's quality standards. Accountability You will be accountable for design, development, and the function of the individual's current and existing products. YOUR EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering or related discipline Preferred: Master's Degree in engineering, science, or materials science discipline Additional education and knowledge in the fields of orthopedics, orthopedic research, biomaterials, experimental and analytical stress analysis, fatigue testing, CAD/CAM skills, geometric tolerancing and a working knowledge of manufacturing processes is required. YOUR EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years related experience required. Previous experience must include product development and design.
