Corporate Manager of Care & Maintenance

Summary

To investigate, troubleshoot and inspect problematic field installations as well as perform testing at corporate locations. Review existing and developmental products for potential field issues and communicate findings with appropriate associates. Conduct maintenance training across all flooring categories (Carpet, LVT, Sheet, Rubber, Legato and Sundries). Proficient in cleaning chemicals, maintenance accessories, floor pads, cleaning equipment and proper cleaning procedures for each product category. Extensive travel required and on demand throughout North America with the possibility of traveling internationally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Role and Responsibilities

* North America (8 time zones)

* Travel out of the country as needed

Product Categories

* Carpet, LVT, SPC & WPC, Sheet, Laminate, Wood, Rubber, Poured Legato (Cork), VCT

* Commercial & Residential

* Work with each product category VP, Director, Manager, Support Staff and external maintenance providers as needed.

Subject matter expert in the following areas:

* Cleaning Chemicals for all flooring categories

* Cleaning Equipment for all flooring categories

* Accessories for all flooring categories

* Cleaning process for all flooring categories *

Best practices for all flooring categories

* Knowledge in competitive and upcoming market changes

Training

* Comfortable in public speaking

* Customer site visits

* New employee onboarding (Sales, marketing, etc.)

* Vender partner training (Starnet, ISSA, IIRC, CRI & other Associations)

* Contribute to different associations as needed

Provide Support To:

* Research and Development

o Review Maintenance chemicals, equipment, accessories that are used on our floors

o Review innovations with vendor partners that will benefit Mannington

o Work with new product launches

o Collaborate with the department as needed

* Quality Assurance o Develop & maintain KPI's

o Communicate findings via email, reports, photos, etc.

o Collaborate with the multiple departments as needed

* Sales support

o Work with DMs to help resolve customer challenges

o Work with customers to be a valuable vendor partner

o Be able to close opportunities when maintenance is a concern

o Develop new business with DMs

o Train and empower DM's to be comfortable talking about maintenance

* Marketing

o Develop and update care and maintenance instructions

o Work together producing blog articles

o Produced maintenance videos for training

o Collaborate with the department as needed

* Claims

o Work with claims adjuster to resolve challenges

o Help claims adjuster compose letters

o Support claims adjuster on TEAMs meetings

o Give support when third party vendor need to get involved

* Overtime is/may be required.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma is required. Extensive maintenance experience in residential and commercial flooring with flooring maintenance certifications (ISSA, IIRC, CRI, etc.)

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AS400/SAP.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

* Current driver's license. Passport may be requested.

* Flooring Maintenance certifications (ISSA, IIRC, CRI, etc.)

Other Skills and Abilities

* Knowledge of proper flooring installation isrequired in all flooring categories including heat welding and flash coving.

* Knowledge of moisture issues and testing substrates.

Other Qualifications

* Must be able to pass a physical fitness test.

* Must be able to travel asrequired.
