What the job involves:We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) to join our team. In this role, you will help to update, create, and align regional and local HSSE systems and standards with the JLL Global HSSE platform.
As an Intern in Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) at JLL, you will: Support in updating and creating regional and local Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) systems and standards to align with the JLL Global HSSE platform. Collaborate with the HSSE Platform team, Regional HSSE Leads, and Operations Teams to ensure HSSE standards are in compliance with regulatory requirements and JLL operations. Utilize educational technical expertise to develop standardized procedures that will benefit thousands of employees across the Americas. Gain visibility and interaction with senior-level professionals within the organization, providing an opportunity for professional growth and networking. Utilize strong communication skills, both written and verbal, which are essential as this internship involves effective communication via email and Zoom. Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to HSSE. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization. Support the collection and analysis of HSSE data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Assist in the preparation and delivery of HSSE reports, presentations, and communications to various stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement HSSE-related projects and initiatives. Support the maintenance and analysis of HSSE documentation, records, and databases. These tasks may vary depending on the specific needs and projects of the organization and your skillset and interests. This is an exciting role for the right candidate to tie in their educational technical experience and collaborate with other JLL organizations to develop standardized procedures to support thousands of employees across the Americas. The intern will have visibility to senior levels within the firm, so the ability to communicate effectively via email and Teams is critical.
