Description: What you'll be doing Another Source's client, Colby College, is recruiting a Senior Capital Projects Manager to join their team onsite in Waterville, Maine. Learn more about Colby College: https://www.colby.edu/academics/course-catalogue/admission-fees-about-colby/about-colby/ About the role: Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Capital Projects, the Senior Capital Projects Manager is responsible for the planning and management of the design and construction process for highly complex capital projects above $20M, as assigned. The Senior Capital Projects Manager, as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborates with department and campus colleagues, as well as consultants to execute planning, design, and construction. This position does not directly supervise other employees but may oversee the work of project managers and an assistant project manager for some projects. This position is expected to provide contract management/oversight of contractors and consultants to ensure the project is completed to program needs, on schedule, and within budget. What you will be doing: Managing and coordinating the planning, programming, design, and construction for new facilities or renovation projects at a high level of complexity, including all site and landscape work, site utilities and building systems (architectural, structural, MEP, fire protection, etc.) as necessary to the project; projects may include civil engineering, landscape/environmental initiatives, buildings, and building systems scopes of work.
