The Job The Sales Assistant is responsible for performing a range of basic office support activities for the sales team and department, such as answering phones and directing calls, answering questions and performing routine clerical and administrative work as assigned. This individual will be part of the Sales Team and provide both administrative support as well as project coordination support. You Will Answer phones and field questions related to Sales activity, from internal staff and other departments Resolve issues experienced by Agents in a timely manner. Escalate appropriately to management, as needed. Prepare and provide accurate documentation. Organize work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; initiating telecommunications. Manage records in sales management system, including new entries, dispositioning existing entries and entering events. Orders, stocks and distributes office and sales supplies. Assists in the coordination of company events, as needed. Assists with coordination of virtual and in-person team meetings. Support the Sales Team and Sales Manager with projects as needed. Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters. Develops reports that accurately measure, track and analyze enrollment and production for Sales Team. Coordinates the onboarding of new sales staff and orders all supporting phones, computers, etc. Coordinates the collection and submission of sales event information. Receives event information from Sales Representatives, enters into spreadsheet and submits to the Sales Operations department. Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Develops sales opportunities in local community for Sales Team. Process payment and track progress of invoices in purchase order system. Tracks team event expenses Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals. Your Qualifications
