Facilities Support Specialist

Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a Facility Support Specialist. This position supports the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) located at445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20024. The working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on site Monday through Friday.

Duties:

• Setting up chairs/tables and arranging large conference rooms for events
• Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and documenting standardized processes.
• Submitting ticket requests for actions required to maintain the expected standard of building floors assigned to the individuals Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Perform small relocation office moves involving transporting moving boxes/equipment to the next destination.
• Perform general office machine equipment maintenance such as: replacing toner cartridges, paper jams in copiers and printers, relocating office equipment during office moves.
• Shredding and document destruction support Office move, equipment distribution, receiving merchandise from loading dock, provide escorts as needed.
• Assisting in the management and monitoring of supply inventory.
• Backup for the teams shipping/receiving responsibilities, being available to receive (or ship) packages from the loading dock, maintaining shipping/receiving documentation for FedEx, UPS, and USPS to program areas.
• Establishing cleaning standards and overseeing the cleaning of appliances, wiping down desks, cleaning 30+ refrigerators quarterly (inside & out) Weekly cleaning of microwaves (inside & out), daily checks of heavily utilized Keurig coffee makers, disposing of used coffee pods, and rinsing out pod containers.
• Stocking offices and personal protective supplies.
• Follow and maintain quality control standards for cleaning and stocking procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
